Our Commitment to Privacy
Elore is committed to safeguarding the privacy of every visitor to our site. We are not an advertising platform, we do not sell your data, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. Our reason for being is to provide educational resources to independent learners such as ourselves within safe environments which support ongoing studies. We recognize mutual respect and trust between ourselves and visitors to our resources as essential to the success of our mission.
Personal Information We May Ask For
We collect only the information you voluntarily provide to us through our contact forms: your name, email address, any questions or notes you choose to include, and your opt-in preference for updates or newsletters. We do not automatically collect identifying information beyond basic, anonymized server logs that are standard to web hosting (such as general traffic volumes and page requests, which contain no personal identifiers).
Contact Forms
When you submit one of our contact forms, the information you provide is transmitted securely to our team via email. We do not store form submissions in a database. The data you share is used only to respond to your inquiry, to send you the updates or newsletter you requested, or to fulfill your request — nothing else.
Cookies
Elore does not use tracking cookies, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics. We may in rare instances use minimal functional cookies strictly necessary to deliver the site's core experience (such as session state for interactive features). These expire when you close your browser and contain no personal information.
How We Use Your Information
Any information you provide is used exclusively for the purpose for which you provided it. If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send you our newsletter. If you submit a question, we use your contact details to reply. We do not use your information for profiling, marketing, analysis, or any other purpose beyond the one you consented to.
How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the information you share with us from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Our site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted via encrypted connections. We do not store visitor contact information in the cloud or elsewhere online. Elore does not employ third-parties to deliver site communications.
Third-Party Marketing Services
While doing so is a widely accepted practice, we do not partner with advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing platforms. In support of educational features we may link to external off-site resources — libraries, archives, academic institutions, product distributors — whose own privacy policies apply once you leave Elore. We have no control over and can take no responsibility for policies external to our own sites.
Your Rights
It is your right to request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, to request its correction, and to request its deletion. This will always be a brief report as we retain only your name and eMail address, once submitted by you, solely for fulfilling the original purpose requested. At any time, should you wish to cease receiving updates or newsletters, and have your name deleted from our records — simply ask.
Children's Privacy
Elore educational resources are intended for general audiences with limited barriers to access. We do not intentionally or knowingly collect contact information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has submitted personal information to Elore, please submit your concerns to us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy from time to time to stay informed about how we protect your information.
